Cedar Notes is a small collection of observations about plants and everyday places.

The notes are meant to be read slowly and tried close to home. There is no need for specialist equipment: a pencil, a few minutes, and a place you can return to are enough.

This is an independent notebook, with no shop, membership, advertising, or newsletter. All pages are readable without an account or JavaScript.

Plant care and outdoor conditions vary by location. Use a reliable local source for identification and species-specific care, and follow the rules of the places you visit.
